All of our hunts are Private Land Hunts. You will not find better free-range elk hunting anywhere! These tags are guaranteed and there is no state drawing to apply for. Most of our hunts are spot and stalk. We try to tailor hunts to the individual hunter and small hunting parties so that we can meet each individual hunters needs. Hunting parties are kept small so that we can meet each individual hunters needs. All of our hunts are conducted with 2 on 1 guide service. These private-land hunts are high-success hunting experiences that are possibly the best in all of New Mexico. Realize all private land, even in New Mexico, is not created equal when you start comparing with other private-land hunts!

I was born and raised in New Mexico.  I started big-game hunting in New Mexico at the age of seven, and have been at it ever since - hunting with both a rifle and a bow. My experience hunting in the area amounts to more than forty years and I have been guiding hunts in the area for years.  My guides and myself are dedicated to work hard for our clients to make sure they have a quality hunting experience. We hunt trophy bulls with high success.  Our experienced guides are local residents, most whom grew up in this area. This is an added advantage as our guides are familiar with the country and have spent many hours scouting before hunters arrive and between hunts. All of Sacramento Mountain Outfitters guides have had experience hunting in the area and know all the best locations. They are very familiar with hunting tactics for harvesting big bulls. Their knowledge and expertise in bow, muzzleloader and rifle hunts will provide men, women, youth and mobility impaired hunters the ultimate experience and the best opportunity for a successful hunt.

I am a registered outfitter with the New Mexico Game and Fish. My guides are also registered with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish and are experienced, hard working and friendly individuals. I have all the permits and insurance required to operate in the State of New Mexico.
