1. A Few Words About Drinking:
We encourage everyone to have a good time. If you would like to have a few drinks when you get back from hunting please do so. By law Sacramento Mountain Outfitters is not allowed to provide any alcoholic beverages to clients. Guests can bring their own alcoholic beverages as long as they are consumed in moderation. Under no circumstances will you be allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages during the day and hunt in the evening. Any excessive drinking will be grounds for termination of the hunt with no refunds. No exceptions!
2. All activities on the ranch will be conducted with a guide or outfitter.
3. Smoking is not allowed in lodging facilities or vehicles. All cigarette butts shall be disposed of properly.
4. All trash will be backhauled to appropriate trash container.
5. All motor travel is limited to roads and trails.
6. Hunter assumes responsibility for trophy quality when making the decision to whether to shoot or not shoot..
7. In all cases shot placement is critical. Wounding policy:
If you shoot and wound an elk, every attempt will be made to recover that animal. Upon wounding an animal, the remainder of the hunt will be spent looking/hunting for the wounded animal.
8. Non-Hunting Guests:
Non-hunting guests are allowed on all hunts offered by Sacramento Mountain Outfitters. Due to different expectations and involvements in the hunt, the price structure for non-hunting guests is as follows: Staying and dining at the lodge and also attending the hunt - $500.00 per guest. Non-hunting guests will share the same room with the hunter
9. Meat processing, cold storage, taxidermy, shipping of meat, capes, and horns is hunter’s responsibilities.
